This Privacy Policy explains how [Developer name] ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects information when you use the Grow Up mobile app (the "App"). By using the App you agree to this Policy.

1. Who we are

The App is published by Pasquale Di Costanzo. For any privacy question or request you can contact us at [email protected].

2. The short version

• You don't need an account. We never ask for your name, email or phone number.
• To analyse your videos and to run the AI coach and the video ideas, the App uses two third-party AI services: Google (Gemini) and OpenAI. Nothing is sent to them until you give your permission in the App, and you can withdraw it at any time in Profile, Data and AI.
• The videos you upload are used only to analyse them. They are deleted from our servers and from Google's servers as soon as the analysis is done.
• Your conversation with the coach stays on your device: we don't store it on our servers.
• We use a random identifier created on your device, not your identity, to run the service.
• We don't sell your data and we don't use it for advertising.

3. Information we collect

Videos you choose to analyse. When you pick a video and start its analysis, the App uploads it to our servers, which send it to Google (Gemini) to be analysed. We only access the videos you select: the App never gets access to your whole photo library.

Analysis results. The score, the observations made on the video (for example the first words spoken and how each part of the video was rated), suggestions, forecasts and texts generated for each video, together with the platform you chose (TikTok, Reels or Shorts), the language of the App and the niches you selected.

Your answers in the onboarding. For example your experience as a creator, your usual number of views, your audience, your niches, what you find hardest, your main goal and how you found us. We use them to personalise the analysis, the forecasts, the coach and the video ideas.

Your messages to the coach. What you type or dictate to the AI coach, the coach's replies, and the short facts the coach chooses to remember about how you work (for example "films alone with a tripod"). The conversation and the remembered facts are saved on your device. When you send a message, the recent part of the conversation is sent through our servers to OpenAI to write the reply, and is not stored on our servers. You can see and delete the remembered facts in Profile, and delete the conversation at any time.

Dictation. If you use the microphone to talk to the coach, your voice is turned into text by Apple's speech recognition, on your device when your language supports it. The audio is never sent to us or to the AI services: only the text you choose to send.

A random install identifier. Created by the App the first time you open it. It is not linked to your name, email or Apple ID, and it lets us keep your analyses, apply usage limits and link your purchases to your installation.

Technical and usage data. How you use the App (for example which screens you open and which features you use), app version, device model, operating system version, language and country. This data is collected through our analytics provider with IP addresses anonymised.

Usage records of the AI services. For each request to the coach or to the video ideas we record the time, the number of tokens used and the estimated cost, linked to your install identifier, to apply usage limits and keep costs under control. We don't record the content of the messages.
